Marketing Specialist

This position serves as a key member of the marketing team, with many roles and responsibilities within the group. The successful candidate will be assigned to multiple projects, impacting multiple customer touchpoints at any given time and bearing overall responsibility for completing tasks and duties as developed or assigned. Working with minimal direction and supervision, the exercise of independent judgment and critical decision-making is a key requirement of the post.

WHAT THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR IN THIS ROLE:

Website and Email Management

  • Designs unique and responsive email campaigns
  • Monitors results to improve future campaigns
  • Performs quality assurance across multiple desktop and mobile devices
  • Maintains a high level of organization to manage the job’s many moving parts and deadlines
  • Maintains the leads and contacts up-to-date in Salesforce CRM
  • Develops and maintains the accuracy of marketing materials and information on the event website

Marketing Communications

  • Collaborates with product management, regional sales team, and other internal departments to write, design and develop marketing materials including, web and internal communications
  • Creates visual aspects of marketing materials, websites and other media, including infographics
  • Ensures brand consistency in message, tone, design, and execution in all materials.
  • Facilitates marketing requests as needed

Tradeshows and Events

  • Working with other marketing team members, drives marketing events, such as trade shows and customer events.
  • Coordinates logistics, including registration and attendee tracking, presentation and materials support and pre and post event evaluations
  • Assists senior management in researching events to determine business fit, target audience and cost, and recommend strategic participation
  • Researches, manages and negotiates terms for guest accommodations and manages all details related to rooming
  • Responsible for floor space acquisition, location and booth details with event management.
  • Manages industry associations and staff for completion of registrations
  • Works on the planning process to include budget, logistics, staff participation, booth messaging, product demonstrations, advertising, and onsite details
  • Provides onsite event support where needed
  • Procures and coordinates vendor services. Coordinates facility, exhibit set-up, equipment, and catering requirements

Education/Experience Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in digital marketing, graphic design, web design, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in graphic design
  • 3+ years of experience in email design
  • 3+ years of experience event management
  • Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign tools
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint skills
  • Strong MSOffice and computer skills
  • Experience using Salesforce and Email Campaign Management tools such as Constant Contact
  • Bonus if you’ve worked in video design

Other Requirements

  • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds (boxes of promo items or literature).
  • Must be able to travel up to 10%.

Job Overview

We are currently looking to expand our DAS Engineering team. This position requires an individual to be technically proficient, well-organized, highly responsive to customers’ needs, and works well with others. Experience in the in-building wireless industry is required, preferably with a Repeater or DAS OEM, or provider of installation and integration services.

Responsibilities

  • Designing in-building distributed antenna systems (DAS) using iBwave software.
  • Conducting on-site data collection using TEMS Investigation or equivalent tool.
  • Processing data using TEMS Discovery or equivalent software.
  • Onsite analysis using portable test equipment (e.g., signal generator, spectrum analyzer).
  • Optimizing systems for interoperability between in-building and macro, with respect to both coverage and capacity needs.
  • DAS troubleshooting and formulation of recommendations for performance improvement of existing systems.
  • Exercise discretion and independent judgment in managing all steps of turnkey projects from site survey to RF design, installation, commissioning, optimization, and testing.
  • Responding to Technical Support inquiries via email or phone. Some after-hours Technical Support may be required.
  • Generating and presenting Technical Support reports and presentations.
  • Producing technical materials (e.g., spec sheets, user manuals, quick-start guides, troubleshooting guides, white papers).
  • Creating and presenting training materials (in-person training as well as online videos and exams).

Qualifications

  • BS in Engineering (Electrical or RF Engineering degree preferred)
  • Experience in in-building wireless industry (carrier experience or experience with DAS or turnkey integrators highly preferred)
  • Experience using iBwave in-building RF design software
  • Experience with Fiber DAS equipment (e.g., CommScope/Andrew, TE/ADC, Corning MobileAccess)
  • Experience with data collection tools (e.g., TEMS Investigation)
  • Experience with post processing tools (e.g., TEMS Discovery)
  • Experience with hand held test equipment (e.g., signal generator, spectrum analyzer)
  • Solid knowledge of wireless technologies (GSM/WCDMA/UMTS/HSPA/CDMA/LTE)
  • Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment
  • Excellent written, presentation, and interpersonal skills
