Whether or not you are a Red Sox fan, it is difficult to visit Boston in the shadow of Fenway Park, listen to the iconic voice of Red Sox announcer Jerry Remy and not sing along to “Sweet Caroline”! With spotty rain showers and gloomy forecasts, we got a break in the weather on Wednesday August 16th to permit another successful evening of meeting new wireless industry contacts and networking with old friends at the Northeast DAS and Small Cell Boston Social at Jerry Remy’s Sports Bar roofdeck. This annual summer gathering has grown and each year it is becoming more challenging to talk with everyone in just three hours! In addition to the wireless integrators, OEMs, distributors, and neutral host companies who have consistently attended NEDAS events, we are starting to see more participation from companies offering site acquisition and consulting services, as well as some tower companies eager to capitalize on the much anticipated explosive growth in small cell deployments. We were also pleased to see representatives from Verizon Wireless, AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile and US Cellular as they are integral to our collective success!
