ADRF Introduces Mobile Web Monitoring GUI for ADX V Series Distributed Antenna System (DAS)

Provides Substantial User Experience Improvements to Remote Monitoring and Controlling

Burbank, Calif., July 6, 2017 -- Advanced RF Technologies, Inc. (ADRF), the largest pure-play in-building Distributed Antenna System (DAS) provider for public safety and commercial radio frequencies, released a mobile web graphical user interface (GUI) for its ADX V Series. The mobile GUI allows users to monitor and control ADRF’s system from a smartphone or tablet, instead of a laptop in an often cramped telecom room.

With the mobile GUI, simple and incremental adjustments can be made from a mobile device during the optimization phase of commissioning and once a system is in operation. The GUI supports tree network lock/unlock to easily add units to a system and verify at the remote. It also provides users with an alarm status that allows them to react to issues from anywhere in real-time.

“Our ADX V Series DAS is the most flexible, modular and simple DAS platform in the industry, and now is made even more agile with the addition of our mobile web GUI,” says William Wong, Manager for DAS Engineering Team at ADRF. “Our engineering team is dedicated to improving the customer experience and the mobile web GUI will reduce the service hours and help partners and customers save time and money.”

The ADX V Series uses a modular architecture to support both single carrier and neutral host applications, and is a flexible platform that promotes pay-as-you-grow capability. The solution is a hot-swappable, user friendly web-based monitoring system and energy efficient in a highly compact unit that saves up to 60% rack space.
