ACUTA’s mission is to advance the capabilities of higher education communications and collaboration technology leaders. ACUTA represents over 1900 individuals at more than 600 institutions of higher education with members ranging from small schools and community colleges to the 50 largest U.S. institutions representing diverse Carnegie classifications in all 50 states.
Naturally, as an OEM of repeaters and DAS products, we were very excited to attend this year’s Annual Conference. Rick Rausch, Regional Sales Manager- South, and Arnold Kim, Director of Business Development, attended the conference. Rick became an advisor to ACUTA though HetNet Forum in 2013.
After speaking with various university IT directors/personnel at the show, we realized that the need for better coverage in campuses is more imperative than ever. The growth of data devices and services from the wireless operators has driven campuses to demand better service and more bandwidth over the last few years. Many higher education establishments are pursuing DAS solutions that integrate all wireless operator services with Public Safety in a single system. ADRF’s cutting edge repeaters and DAS systems are not only scalable and flexible, but also one of the most cost effective products in the market today.
