The CIBET Initiative 2015

The Certified In-Building Engineering Technologist Initiative (or CIBET), is the only certification dedicated to organizing a core of fundamental engineering techniques specific to the migration towards next generation networks.  CIBET is an educational foundation designed to help bridge the gap between engineers and non-engineers, operators and integrators, and OEMs and professional service providers. The goal is finding a common language and skill set from which to base our work. Led by Phil Ziegler, CIBET engages in industry leaders to help demonstrate and teach the curriculum. ADRF had the honor of being invited to participate in this year’s CIBET conference in Denver, CO, making this the 3rd consecutive CIBET for ADRF.

Michael Jones, Regional Sales Manager- West, participated in a debate on one of the most controversial topics trending in the in-building wireless community– DAS vs. Small Cells. Additionally, ADRF’s DAS Engineers, Marek Ziebinski and Mohammed Ali, provided training to the attendees during the Practical Application Sessions to cover everything DAS related from adaptability of a DAS system in the ever changing environment, to upgrade flexibility of a DAS system with changing requirements.
