In the case of an emergency it is crucial that all buildings support wireless communication for first responders, such as the police and the fire department. National and international fire codes now mandate that all new and existing buildings have full wireless coverage indoors. Additionally, each municipality also requires a unique configuration for public safety radio.
ADRF is at the forefront of providing code-compliant public safety wireless solutions that meet IFC and NFPA codes as well as the rigorous municipal requirements for building occupancy. ADRF’s innovative Public Safety DAS and repeaters are proven solutions to make buildings safer and deliver truly mission-critical wireless services. Our solutions can be implemented in and out of doors and offer custom frequency for unique filtering requirements.
ADRF Public Safety Solutions help IT staff provide reliable cellular and first responder coverage throughout buildings so the public can be alerted during a crisis.

Vancouver International Airport started off as a single runway and a small wood-frame administration building in 1931. Now, YVR is Canada’s second busiest airport with a reputation for one of the best airports in North America. YVR wanted to provide public safety coverage for the airport and the coverage needed to extend multiple buildings. To uphold the Airports’ reputation ADRF used optical expansion to ensure public safety coverage throughout the terminal and installed a parallel system to ensure if one system failed, there would be a backup system in place to cover.
