Q. How come there is little/no signal strength on the UL?
A. The UL signal strength is based on the amount of UL traffic that is present in the system. The repeater will detect a signal when there is data that is being transmitted from a phone or data card. It is normal to see a repeater with little/no signal strength on the UL side.

Q. I have setup the Axiom repeater and it appears to be functioning correctly, but the modem is not connecting?
A. In order for the modem to establish a connection, an antenna on the Donor Sum port must be connected. If donor antennas are connected directly to the modules and are bypassing the channel combiner that is built into the Aixom-NMS, then a separate dipole pole antenna must be connected to the Donor Sum port. Alternatively a 2 way splitter or a couple can be used to provide a donor signal to the Donor Sum port. It is recommended to split the signal...
