APCO International’s Annual Conference & Expo, is the premier event for public safety communications officials, from frontline telecommunicators to comm center managers to public safety communications equipment and services vendors. This year’s event attracted over 5,000 attendees from organizations including law enforcement, fire service, emergency medical services, government agencies, and service providers.

ADRF’s DAS Engineer and Subject Matter Expert, Mohammed Ali, spoke to the audience about Public Safety Indoor DAS Performance and Reliability. In the case of an emergency, it is crucial that all buildings support wireless communications for first responders, such as the police and the fire department. In fact, national and international fire codes now require full indoor coverage for public safety in all buildings, new or existing. In addition, each municipality requires a unique configuration for public safety radio.
